CURRICULUM VITAE SUMMARY

Dr. Juan Gabriel Gay Molina

Medical Surgeon graduated from Anahuac University, Master in Public Health and Master in Economics and Health Policy both from the University of London.

He is the Founder and CEO of the consulting firm TIS, a company dedicated to advising on economic evaluation projects in health, policy analysis, and the design and implementation of programs aimed at population health. He has also undertaken several business ventures focused on health, including Espacio Médico, which operates primary care units.

He has extensive experience within various institutions in the sector, having worked for the Mexican federal government as Director of Innovation at the General Health Council and as Deputy Director of Sustainability at the Ministry of Health. He has also developed analysis and research projects for the OECD (Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development) and for the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine.

He is the co-author of two books on Hospital Administration and Health Infrastructure Planning, both published by the Ministry of Health. He has also published several articles related to the economic evaluation and planning of the Mexican health system.

Mr. Luis Adrian Ortiz Blas - Director of Health Systems

Economist from the Center for Economic Research and Teaching (CIDE)
Master in Health Economics from Pompeu Fabra University (UPF) and the Autonomous University of Barcelona (UAB), Barcelona, Spain

He is the Director of Health Systems at TIS. He has worked in the federal government as head of the Economic Analysis Unit at the Ministry of Health, as well as Deputy Director General of International Policy in the Office of Advisors to the Secretary of Health. He worked at the Mexican Social Security Institute (IMSS) as Evaluation Coordinator in the Legal Department and as Analysis Coordinator in the Institutional Strategic Planning Department. He has also worked as a Junior Economist in the Health Division of the World Bank and in the Latin America Office of the OECD.

She is the Director of Research and Scientific Dissemination at TIS. A medical doctor with over 10 years of experience in healthcare, in both the public and private sectors, she has led the medical area at TIS for more than six years, advising the pharmaceutical and medical device industries on access strategies, evidence generation, and therapeutic positioning. She has coordinated and participated in numerous projects, building a multidisciplinary medical team in the areas of RWE, access, and public policy. She has expertise in medical affairs, economic modeling, systematic reviews, scientific writing, and working with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs).

He holds a medical degree and a master's degree in Health Services Management, with 33 years of professional experience, including 16 years in the pharmaceutical industry. He has experience leading access strategies and pharmacoeconomic models for various companies, as well as developing multiple health economic evaluations and cost-effectiveness models to support access and coverage.
